Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED: AUGUST 10, 2026
Vozzy films your scene, an AI writes the script, and a voice narrates it in the style of your channel. This page describes exactly what data is processed to get there, where it goes, and what never leaves your device. The short version: the video stays on your device; only a few still frames and the script pass through our providers, and no named account is ever created.

What data is processed
- Still frames from your shot. Five still frames are extracted from the video and sent, through our server, to Anthropic to write the episode's script. We do not store them: they are only used to produce the text, then discarded.
- The script. The text written by the AI is sent to ElevenLabs to be recorded by a synthetic voice. We do not keep it.
- The video, never. The editing (video, voice, overlays) happens entirely on your device. The full video and the finished episode are never uploaded to our servers.
- An anonymous identifier. On first launch, an anonymous technical account is created (Firebase Authentication). No name, email or phone number is ever requested.
- Usage counters. The number of episodes produced (per month for subscribers) is kept server-side, tied to the anonymous identifier, to enforce the plan's quotas.
- Subscription state. Purchases go through Apple or Google; RevenueCat passes us the subscription state tied to the anonymous identifier. We never see your payment details.
- A device integrity attestation. Your device proves it runs an authentic build of the app (App Check), to protect the service against abuse.
Vozzy ships with no analytics, no ads, no trackers and no crash reporting.
Purposes and legal bases
- Producing the episode (frames to the AI, script to the voice): your consent, collected on the screen shown at first launch. You can withdraw it at any time by no longer using the app or by contacting us.
- Running the plans (quotas, subscription): performance of the contract between us when you use Vozzy.
- Protecting the service (integrity attestation): our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and abuse.
Recipients
Processors
- Anthropic (United States): writes the script from the frames. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models.
- ElevenLabs (United States): records the narration from the script.
- Google
Firebase: hosts our server and the counters, in the European Union
(region
europe-west1). - RevenueCat (United States): manages subscription state.
- Apple / Google: process payments under their own policies; we never access payment data.
Transfers outside the European Union are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or Data Privacy Framework certification).
Retention
- Frames and script: processed on the fly to produce the episode, not retained by our servers.
- Identifier, counters and subscription state: kept as long as the technical account exists. Write to us to have them erased.
- Videos and episodes: on your device only, under your sole control. Deleting the app deletes the local data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to contact@vozzy.code-family.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in France, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Children
Vozzy is not intended for children under 15 without parental consent. No personal details are requested, whatever the age.
Changes
